How do I book you for bespoke stationery?
To book in for bespoke design, simply fill in the form here and we’ll get back to you with availability, pricing, and next steps.
How does payment work for bespoke stationery?
For bespoke stationery suites, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and begin the design process.
The remaining 50% balance is due before your stationery goes to print. We’ll send you a final invoice once your designs are approved - printing will only begin once full payment has been received.
This split payment ensures we can reserve time in our schedule and cover the time spent developing your custom designs.
When should I order my wedding stationery?
We recommend ordering your save the dates around 8-12 months before your wedding, and your invitations around 4-6 months before the big day.
If you're ordering on-the-day stationery (like menus, place cards or signage), aim for 4-6 weeks before your wedding.
For bespoke designs, please allow extra time (at least 6-8 weeks) for design and production.
When should I send my save the dates and invitations?
Save the Dates: 8-12 months before your wedding (earlier if it's a destination wedding).
Invitations: Around 3-4 months before your wedding.
What’s the process after I place my order?
After your purchase, we’ll be in touch via email to collect your wording and colour choices. Once received, we’ll create your first draft and send it to you within 5 working days.
Your purchase includes one round of amendments - just reply to our email with any changes. Once approved, we’ll send your design to print and post it to you.
If you’ve ordered a digital design, your final files will be sent via email in PDF and JPG format, ready to use.
What are your delivery options and how long will it take?
We use Royal Mail Tracked Delivery at a flat rate of £9.95.
Delivery typically takes 2–5 working days from dispatch (UK orders). International delivery times will vary.
Can I order samples?
Absolutely! If you’d like to see the quality and finish before placing an order, just email us at hello@sjlstudio.co.uk with the design(s) you’re interested in.
Do you offer addressed envelopes?
Not at the moment - but it’s something we hope to offer in future!
Can I request changes to a semi-custom design?
Yes! Semi-custom designs can be personalised with your wording and choice of colours.
If you'd like further customisation (e.g. fonts, layout changes), just drop us a message - we’ll let you know if it’s possible and quote for any extras.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! Please note that delivery times and shipping costs may vary depending on your location.
